Tapestry of fabric remnants, artfully hand-decorated with numerous oriental embroideries and central elephant.
In the north of India, fabric remnants from textile processing are sewn into an individual patchwork tapestry in the old tradition. Each tapestry is a unique work of art and a unique piece.
The fabrics consist of old borders, saris, or upholstery fabrics. Partly decorated with elaborate embroidery, the patchwork fabrics together form a colorful, varied pattern.
Every single piece of fabric is elaborately created by hand. For this purpose, fabric remnants in different sizes are used, decorated and then sewn together into a patchwork tapestry.
As a wall decoration, an Indian patchwork tapestry is an absolute eye-catcher. The closer you get to the structure, the more details become visible and the artistic craftsmanship recognizable.
The elephant as well as the outdoor area have the basic color dark blue and are decorated with numerous embroideries in different colors. The background is complementary in orange and red.
